What drew you to aviation?: Born into it, dad has been flying since 1966, I’ve been flying in airplanes since 1971, a few months old.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: Since July 2018

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Seeeing the “lightbulb moment” in students

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Private instruction with students wanting to slingshot their way to the airlines.

Why did you join SAFE?: To enhance my skills as an instructor

What would you like to see change in aviation?: Greater appreciation for foundational skills in each potential aviator.

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: Must be done on an individual basis. This has to be communicated and understood by each student.
