Q & A
What drew you to aviation?: My Grandpa built his own airplane when I was young and was hooked ever since.
How long have you been involved in aviation education?: 6 years
What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Being able to pass on the joy and excitement of flying with others.
What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Having to cancel a flying lesson due to weather.
Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Flying my own RV-6A for the first time.
Why did you join SAFE?: Every educator needs to continue to learn to improve him or herself. Why not learn from the best?
What would you like to see change in aviation?: Improve our outreach to those who always thought of learning to fly, but didn't pursue that dream.
Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: Increase our positive visibility in whatever communication form available. Don't let the press just publish something about aviation after a crash.

Who are your role models in aviation?: The excellent instructors that I had the privelege to learn from.
