What drew you to aviation?: I've been interested in aviation since I was 3 years old.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: Since 1966

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Seeing the stars light up in the students mind.

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Dealing with airport managers who ask what we can do for them instead of asking what we need.

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Geting type rated in the Boeing 707 with barely 1200 hours in the days when we actually flew the airplane. From the right seat in a Cessna 150 to the left seat in the Boeing.

Why did you join SAFE?: Supporting education in the aviation environment. Far better than NAFI who I've watched since it's inception.

What would you like to see change in aviation?: Better support from those that have

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: Fund raising.

Who are your role models in aviation?: Col Bill Hudgins (USAF) mentored me during the formative part of my aviation career.

Anything else you'd like to add?: Spent most of my career advocating fuel conservation when it was only 0.15/gal
