Q & A

What drew you to aviation?: As children, my dad would take us to the Lawrence, MA KLWM airport to watch airplanes land and takeoff. Then AFROTC and finally working in the aerospace industry.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: since 1996

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Students with bad attitudes.

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Meeting different and interesting people.

Why did you join SAFE?: Membership in professional organization

Anything else you'd like to add?: Leo Started flying in 1970 and earned his Private Pilot Certificate in 1971. Since then he has completed Flight Instructor with Instrument, ATP single engine and Commercial Pilot Multi Engine.

He has accumulated over 4800 hours of flight time with over 3000 hours of instruction given. He is familiar with Technically Advanced Aircraft.

He recently completed his A&P training.
His longest flight was from KMMV McMinnville OR to 7B6 in a Piper Archer. He regularly flies the eastern US from Fl to IL and AL with clients in high performance piston aircraft.
