What drew you to aviation?: Raised on a property next to a small grass field airport. From the age of 5 that's what I wanted to do with my life.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: 40 plus years!

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Enjoying the success of my students.

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: There is none. I do not complain I've experienced a fairy tale life and career.

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: I've had many. I could write a book. I just finished a student over the last summer with his private pilot license before his senior year in minimum time. It was fun and awesome.

Why did you join SAFE?: Already a member of other aviation organizations, I decided your purpose is important for our continued success as educators and pilots.

What would you like to see change in aviation?: The accident rate!

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: We are already doing it with organizations like SAFE. Keep up the good work. There is always more to do and it behooves each one of us to do our part!!!!!

Who are your role models in aviation?: Rod Machado, General Doolittle, Carl Ben Eielson, the Wright Brothers, Bob Hoover, and a host of others!
