What drew you to aviation?: Always interested as a kid, Civil Air Patrol Cadet (Communications Officer), two tours in US Air Force
How long have you been involved in aviation education?: Over 30 years
What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Emphasis on good stick and rudder skills, simulated engine out safety considerations, ADM, tailwheel instruction, Pinch Hitter courses
What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: When dealing with the ones that just want to "do the bare minimum" to get by – explaining and hopefully proving the error of their ways
Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Giving open cockpit tailwheel instruction (Stearman) to several NASA astronauts, Pinch Hitter for their wives, giving "reunion" flights for our aging WWII pilot/flight crew veterans
