What drew you to aviation?: I was drawn to aviation as a second generation pilot.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: I solo-ed in gliders when I was 14 years, earned my private when I was 16, commercial and CFI when I was 18.

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Introducing students to thrill of flying and exploring new areas of the country.

Why did you join SAFE?: I joined SAFE to stay up to date with the current trends and knowledge in the aviation education industry.

What would you like to see change in aviation?: I would like to see the increase in personal flying in rural areas of the country.

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: I think coalition or club like plan to support and ease the barriers into backcountry flying and make the endeavor more accessible to all.
