What drew you to aviation?: I knew that I wanted to fly professionally at the age of 8. At 12, I was allowed to take the controls on a whale watching flight over the Pacific Ocean.
How long have you been involved in aviation education?: I started as an AGI then a CFI in helicopters in 2007.
What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Seeing the 'click' when a student finally figures out how to hover, and the look on the student's face after their first solo.
What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: That the student is unknowingly trying to wipe me off the face of the Earth, by attempting to fly me directly into said Earth at high velocity.
