Q & A

What drew you to aviation?: I knew that I wanted to fly professionally at the age of 8. At 12, I was allowed to take the controls on a whale watching flight over the Pacific Ocean.

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Seeing the 'click' when a student finally figures out how to hover, and the look on the student's face after their first solo.

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: That the student is unknowingly trying to wipe me off the face of the Earth, by attempting to fly me directly into said Earth at high velocity.

Who are your role models in aviation?: Eddie Rickenbacker, William Olson, Troy Miller, and Nick Barney
