How long have you been involved in aviation education?: 30 years
What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Teaching CFI's
What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Teaching "canned" courses.
Why did you join SAFE?: I was a long standing member of NAFI and became disenchanted with their organization, especially the MCFI debacle.
What would you like to see change in aviation?: Better primary instruction wit reduced costs and more emphasis on simulation.
Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: See above. Also better supervision of new instructors.
Any accomplishments in, or noteworthy contributions to aviation and/or aviation education you'd like to mention?: I was approved as a SAFE mentor and was an MCFI for 4 years.
