Q & A

What drew you to aviation?: I grew up on an island in the Caribbean. The only way on and off the island was by air. I loved standing on the beach and watching the planes land.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: Been involved in aviation since 1991.

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Taking a potential client up for their first flight, demystifying how easy it is to fly. Also, that moment when all the training kicks and the client "gets-it".

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: The increasing price for flight training and aircraft rental.

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: My first solo flight, all alone and without my instructor.

Why did you join SAFE?: To be more involved in general aviation, and to encourage and promote customers/students to unlock their potential in becoming pilots. Share my passion for flying, to advocate risk mitigation, and flight safety.
