What drew you to aviation?: During my time in the US Army I was able to ride along on UH-60 and CH-47 helicopters. During my first ride on a CH-47 I had one of those rare aha moments when something clicks, and just then I decided to become a pilot.

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Witnessing student success.

Why did you join SAFE?: To find new ways to teach my students and to become a better pilot myself.

Who are your role models in aviation?: Several of my good instructors and several of my less than good instructor.
