What drew you to aviation?: Combination of science, safety, adventure and independence drove me to make being a full time flight instructor my second career.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: Began training 2007, currently a DPE, CFII, Trained Cirrus Instructor as well as active with FAASTeam, 99s, EAA, NAFI and SAFE

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Meaningful flights. Destinations of interest and involving others. Teaching in a building block (steps) manner so there is always success for the student.

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Solo cross country in my Cessna 185 Ohio to CA and back with mountain training and flying on the way.

Why did you join SAFE?: Professional information, materials and colleagues.

Any accomplishments in, or noteworthy contributions to aviation and/or aviation education you'd like to mention?: Designated Pilot Exam, Mountian Flight Training, Scholarship recipient from local 99s group, Growing client base in instruction.
