Q & A

What drew you to aviation?: My father was a pilot and A&P Mechanic. We owned a Piper Tri-Pacer, and it was something he and I always did together – my mom and brother were never into it. My first (albeit fuzzy) memory is me sitting on dad's lap "flying" a plane (I must've been 3 years old or so).

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: I've been a CFI for a week (as of 3/29/2012), but I did corporate / operations training for a large, well-known fractional ownership (91K) company from 2001 until I left the company in 2006. I missed aviation so much I decided to spend a lot of money and get back to teaching it again – from a different perspective.

Why did you join SAFE?: It was recommended to me by another SAFE member.
