What drew you to aviation?: My Dad was a Professional Pilot.

How long have you been involved in aviation education?: since 1972. 41 years

What's your favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: See a Pilot become an Aviator and a better one.

What's your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education?: Teaching applicants that are not on fire with learning. Paperwork. FAA

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you'd like to share?: Piper Aircraft Corporation giving me the"Second Effort Award"

Why did you join SAFE?: More Professional, mature Organisation.

What would you like to see change in aviation?: More Input by Professionals to FAA rules, policies and procedures.
Much more training on Stick & Rudder Skills.
Medical procurement procedures and requirements not so bureaucratic and more realistic.

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished?: Self govern, Privatize many of the government functions, or at least have Advisory Committees from the industry with"Filibuster" capability.

Any accomplishments in, or noteworthy contributions to aviation and/or aviation education you'd like to mention?: Established the Altitude awareness procedure that is standard in the Major Air Carrier Airlines. Devote a lot of my time to Pilot education and skill improvement for GA and EAA.

Anything else you'd like to add?: Don't get self serving or forget who pays the bills and what the goal is and who you serve.
