What drew you to aviation? I started flying in 1956 after seeing a centerfold picture of an emerald-color glider landing on a golden sandy beach with a deep blue sea and scattered cumulus clouds in the background. After my first ride, I never stopped flying since .

How long have you been involved in aviation education? CFI Glider [Egypt] since 1965

What’s your favorite part of what you do in aviation education? Enjoy teaching flying Foster Safety Think one step ahead

What’s your least favorite part of what you do in aviation education? Risk factors involved

Do you have a memorable aviation experience you’d like to share? One of my students became the private pilot for the late Egyptian President  Sadat.

Why did you join SAFE? I like Doug Stewart & Rich Stowell More democratic organization. Members are energetic & have hopes for better future I like Doug Stewart & Rich Stowell

What would you like to see change in aviation? 1. Elimination of FAA medical exam for private license [similar to UK] 2. More recognition for GA as important economical assest and as safe for people and nation

Any suggestions on how the above might be accomplished? Lobbying; Education designed for the public, Emphasis on logic with regulators

Any accomplishments in, or noteworthy contributions to aviation and/or aviation education you’d like to mention? Establish a successful quality Assurance program for one of the largest flight schools in NY [Panoram Flight Service,  at KHPN]
